I am not convinced that time is truly linear---we only perceive it that way right now.

if you think your creator is like a doll maker that goes on a vacation when he gets tired. then maybe he is really out because he has gotten tired of people like us who never knew Him at all.
So for you and for me our concept of Him is not how he should be conceptualized. God definitely is not an object of inquiry and we'll never find him in human way we do. But look around and look at everything you see,smell, touch, taste, feel, sense and all he is there like the works of painter in his canvas. you don't normally say its a garden.. you oftentimes say its a Van Gogh or Gaugin.

Not only is the Lord here with us, but He is outside the dimensionality of time. Time is a physical property which is affected by mass, gravity, and acceleration. God, being Spirit, has no restrictions on His movement between time and space.

You sound pretty sure of yourself. Do you expect an answer to this? O.K. for the sake of everyone else, then. Time was created by God just like everything else we experience. He is not subject to the time/space continuum (see also the miracles of Jesus Christ). Because God is standing outside of time, and because He is Master of it, He can access it at any point He likes. He is the one who was, who is, and who is to come. Jesus Christ, the same yesterday, today and forever.

Have you ever heard about the cycle of life? Time may go forward, but man created time. God created life and life travels in cycles. Our Creator is alive and well.

I don't really get the gist of your question, what does time have to do with wether or not Jesus is coming back, sorry but I honestly don't get your point, could you elaborate maybe.
