You should be definitely afraid. With the way the boys are in todays world I would be really scared too. I'm not saying everybody is like that but you better be aware. There's a great deal of idiots out there and getting together with one wouldn't be in your best interest. Sixteen years of age isn't anything to be wondering about a boyfreind. There's other priorities for you first if you want to be smart about it. It doesn't matter when somebody else got a boyfriend...what matters is you. You can't and shouldn't compare yourself to someone else like that. Wait for a few years and you'll be greatful that you did. Take care.

I was 12 when i got my first g/f. Till this day we are still dating weve, been together for 4yrs now we are still together till this very day and we have grown to love eachother very much we are plannign to get married i nthe future good luck i hope this helps
