I usually empty the sauce and put it in a ziplock freezer bag and put it in the freezer to make it last a little bit more longer than a few days or weeks. Give it a try.

5-7 days. you may be good for longer, but I wouldnt do it. The acids in the tomatoes keep it from growing bacteria quite well.

i usually keep it in there for about 2-3 weeks. as long as it's kept cold, there shouldn't be to much of a problem. however, it wouldn't be a good idea to keep it in there to much longer than that.

Essentially you can keep it forever. Let an archaeologist find it in the future. Just don't invite me over for eats at your house.

As long as you want. Before you go to use it, just put a dab on the tip of your tongue. If it starts to froth up, or if it tastes really bitter, I'd probably not serve it to guests.
