I joined a gym at that age, run by my school. You should probably talk to your soccer coach about it.

Ask the people at your local gym or health club. You might need your parents to sign an authorization for your membership, but I don't think 13 is too young, especially if you're on a soccer team.

The minimum age at my gym is 13... they don't want a lot of children running around. Just call and ask your local gyms what the minimum age is.

i'm sure every gym has it's own age requirement, if you are too young to go alone you may be able to workout w/ an adult, if all else fails, you can use resources like the internet, books, coach or gymteacher to work out and build muscle at home/outdoors!

each gym has a different age limit to use certain equipment... i know at the gym i go to now you have to be 15 to use any of the weightlifting equipment but i know it depends on the gym and if you have a parent with you
