Both have their pluses/minuses.
Single Pluses: don't have to take into consideration the wants/needs of anybody but yoursef; independence: ability to pick up and go where you want without anyone else objecting; peace & quiet; can be messy if you want, decorate your place how you want to, eat as little or as much as you want, whenever you want. You're on nobody's schedule but your own.

Single Minuses: Potential loneliness; nobdy to share your triumphs and/or heartaches with; potential of feeling like the "odd one out" if most of your friends/co-workers are married or in a relationship.

Married Pluses: companionship; knowledge that you're one half of a "team", kind of the two of you against the world no matter what; potentially higher-quality lifestyle due to more income; the presence in your life of someone who cares about you more than anybody else in the world, therefore giving you reasons to go out and achieve to your utmost (of course this is possible if you're single, but when you're married you might have more of an
initiative to try even harder).

Married minuses: having to deal w/another person's quirks and annoying traits; inability to exist solely on your own schedule/timetable; potential of annoyance if the other person is clingy, possessive, jealous, lazy, unmotivated, moody, etc.

Whatever life you enjoy. I sometimes think I could be laying a lot of chicks that I see if I were single, but then I wake up and remind myself that I wasn't really getting laid that much before I met my wife.

So far, I have preferred to remain single. I'm open to marriage if I meet the right person for me, but to get married just to be married ? No thanks. I'll stick with my dog :)

Married life--
If you marry the right person, you don't have to worry about stupid game-playing, lies, backstabbing, STDs, trying to impress someone..........
