There are those who will cite passages where Jesus says about Himself I AM - a name which is applied only to God in the Old Testament - or incidences where Jesus received worship. These passages are not enough in and of themselves, however, for there are religions which interpret them in a manner suggesting that Jesus is not God.
I personally take a different tack. There are a bunch of verses in the Old Testament besides the one with 'I AM' in it (which is Exodus 3:14, by the way), which give various attributes of God, saying that they are His unique property possessed by no one else - and yet, in the New Testament, they are said to be properties of Jesus as well. So, compare the following:
Creator: Genesis 1:1-2:25; Colossians 1:16
Savior: Isaiah 42:11; Acts 4:12
Forgiver of sins: Isaiah 42:25; Mark 2:1-12
First and Last: Isaiah 44:6; Revelation 1:17
Rock: Isaiah 44:8; Matthew 16:13-18
Every knee will bow: Isaiah 45:23; Philippians 2:5-11
Bread of Life: Deuteronomy 8:3; John 6:35
Sheperd: Psalm 23:1; John 10:14
Light: Psalm 27:1; John 1:4; John 8:12
Judge: Isaiah 33:22; Acts 17:31
King: Deuteronomy 10:17; 1 Samuel 12:12; Psalm 24:7; 47:7; Isaiah 33:22; Revelation 19:16
Living One: Genesis 2:4-7; Psalm 36:9; Isaiah 42:5; Isaiah 53:9-11; Matthew 22:23-33; John 1:4; John 5:26; 10:17-18; John 11:25-26; Revelation 1:18
This is what comes to mind at the moment. There is also another angle to the matter, namely the action of the Holy Spirit in Jesus' life. First of all, we notice the circumstances of His conception, which in fact are a fulfillment of prophecy (Isaiah 7:14), identifying Him as 'God with us'.
Then there is the matter of the Spirit's descending on Jesus at the time of His baptism, which was also made known to John the Baptist before the fact, as a means of identifying the One Whom John had come to prepare the way for (John 1:29-34).
Then there is the fact of Jesus' resurrection, which is given as proof that Jesus is Who He is claimed to be in the New Testament: the Son of God (Romans 1:4); the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25-26); the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6); the Judge (John 5:27; Acts 17:31).
There are several accounts of His death and resurrection. In particular, there is the eyewitness account of John, who includes one very important detail that is not mentioned in the other accounts, namely that the separation of the blood, a phenomenon which occurs after death, is recorded (John 19:34).
All of this taken together, to me, shows that the following:
For unto us a son is born
Unto us a son is given
And the government shall be upon his shoulder
And his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor
Mighty God
Everlasting Father
Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6)
means that Jesus is much more than just the Son of God, and much more than just 'a god', even 'a Mighty God'. It means that we are to take with the utmost seriousness the part about the 'Everlasting Father' in application to Jesus, as it is written: 'From everlasting to everlasting You are God' (Psalm 90:2).

I'm sure there will be a ton of good answers before I get this posted, but that is because I'll be looking up the scriptures so you can trust my answer.
Isaiah 9:6 says "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us, and government will rest on His shoulders, and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
Jesus holds all the same titles as the Father and the Holy Ghost. He has the same attributes as God.
All powerful Matthew 28:18
All knowing Colossians 2:3 and verse 9 affirms His deity.
Ever present Matthew 18:20
Eternal John1:1,2, 15
He acknowledged this fact Himself John 20:28,29
Angels worship Him Hebrews 1:6
Alpha and Omega or First and Last Isaiah 44:6, Revelation 22:13, Jesus is eternal, He does not change, He was God before time existed John 8:58,
Lots more but this should do until you can look it up for yourself.
I recommend a good study Bible. I use the Open Study Bible notes. You can ask for this resource at almost any Christian book store like Berean, or The Open Bible, etc.,
As to physical proof, how much do you trust historical record. Do you know that there is more historical evidence for the life and work of Jesus than there is for Napoleon Boneparte? Yet Napoleon lived only a couple hundred years ago. Christ was here 2000 years ago. How about all the witnesses that claim He changed their lives so radically, often miraculously?

But when you can make it to the heathen that this Jesus is God, Jehovah God, not a second person or a third person; it's the same Person all the time making Hisself manifest...But Jesus is God and He's present. Yes, the rich young Paul seen this vindication, by the same Spirit, and He changed him when he was on the road to Damascus. Why? He seen that Pillar of Fire, and he knowed that was the same Jesus. Then he cried out, after he knowed it was God. And Jesus is God. Now, let's take St. Luke 17:30 and watch what Jesus prophesied there, saying that, "As it was in the days of Sodom, it'll be the same..." Notice. This is at the time that the Son of man would be revealed, the revealing of the Son of man. Now, the Son of man was actually revealed potentially just for a few moments there, just before Sodom was burned. Now, that Man was Elohim. That was God, and Jesus is God. Now, you, you believe Jesus is God, don't you? And now in this last age, we have come back to the capstone revelation, the most important revelation of Godhead in the whole Bible, that is, JESUS IS GOD, HE AND THE FATHER ARE ONE: THERE IS ONE GOD, AND HIS NAME IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
The words are, "He is the BEGINNER or AUTHOR of the creation of God." Now we know for a surety that Jesus is God, very God. He is the Creator.
John 1:3
"All things were made by Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made."

In the book of Isaiah 42:1-4, states that someone is the future will come whom God will declare as His son.
Then, God does this in Mark 1:11, "...You are My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased."
John the Baptizer called Jesus the 'The Lamb of God' in John 1:29
In Mark 6: 1,2, Jesus stood up in the synagogue and spoke. "Many hearing Him were Astonished, saying, "Where did this Man get things? And what wisdom is this which is given to Him,..."
As to the physical proofs, no other person has had so much written about him in the history of the world as Jesus Christ.

He is not and there aren't any texts in the Bible that say he is! You might get some quotes of scriptures but mostly they do not show any real proof, they are just a play on words taken out of context ,so if you read those texts read a few before, and a few after that text, to get the general idea of what is being said there, that way you can decipher, if they are, really proving tha,t or not, for yourself, I would say to you, don't just accept anything anyone says, as truth, research it yourself, you'll be glad you did so!

You cant come up with physical proof, you have to believe what the bible says if you want to find out who Jesus really is. The gospell of John talks about the word made flesh, that word is the word of God. John 1: 1-18.

Jesus is not God
John 17:3 You the only true God.
not we or WE AM. You.
It is just another Roman pagan belief that a Roman put into the church.
A "Cesar" made the rule (along with some of his followers) that Jesus would be God. It would be easier to convert other Romans to the State religion if it was more Roman.

Check the verses in the Gospels that deal with the scenes at the tomb and the transfiguration and the baptism of Jesus and you will see Zeus the Sun God, the God of Gods and Father of Gods and men written all over these descriptions, and check Acts of the Apostles and read Paul's accounts of his midday encounter with Zeus the Sun God directly overhead.
The Bible is more than 50% Greek worship of Zeus, if only you will open your eyes and your mind.
Yes! Jesus is Zeus the God come down as his own son on abduction of the Virgin in true Zeus fashion.

Thanks For Your Question :)
Well I must say that I'm a Muslim and I'm taught two things
never to lie and always seek knowlege so from a small reasearch I did over the bible I found that study of the Christian scriptures reveals that Jesus (pbuh) never claimed divinity. In fact there is not a single unequivocal statement in the entire Bible where Jesus (pbuh) himself says, "I am God" or where he says, "worship me". In fact the Bible contains statements attributed to Jesus (pbuh) in which he preached quite the contrary. The following statements in the Bible are attributed to Jesus Christ (pbuh):
"My Father is greater than I."
[The Bible, John 14:28]
"My Father is greater than all."
[The Bible, John 10:29]
"…I cast out devils by the Spirit of God…."
[The Bible, Mathew 12:28]
"…I with the finger of God cast out devils…."
[The Bible, Luke 11:20]
So it made perfect sense when god says in the Quraan " The Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth)."
