There's nothing wrong with that at all. Every dog should be so loved!

As a individual who loves dogs, I'd rather see a dog cared for and loved rather than being abused and mistreated. To me, this means you provide a dog with a good quality food, clean fresh water, vet care and all the attention and love that you can give. Just as a child needs discipline, a dog also needs to be trained to know the boundaries.
All the rhinestone collars, clothes and designer carriers mean nothing to a dog. Heck, even a homeless person can enjoy the loyalty and companionship of a dog. A dog would as soon lap up the water from the toilet than a lead crystal bowl. That's what makes a dog so special.....they don't care if their owner is rich or poor. They only want their love and attention.
All the designer wear and fancy accouterments are strictly for your benefit. If you've got the bucks and have nothing better to spend it on than designer totes and collars for your dog....go for it. It will not make your dog love you one bit more. I rather see someone spoil a dog than kick a dog any day.

Not at all.
We spent over $9,000.00 on a Tahoe to haul our german shepherds around so they'd be comfortable. They were too cramped in the back seat of the car.We only have 2.One weighs 105# and the other is 75#.Altho they both look good sitting in the car. It's bronze. We also made sure they'd look good in the truck before we bought it.
They go with us on trips cos I'll not leave them and have to have 2 double beds in hotel rooms.
One bed for me and the dogs and daddy gets one to himself.
The bigger one has arthritis and when he does'nt feel good he'll wait till daddy gets up in the night to use the bathroom and he'll get in bed with me.He stretches out taking up most of the bed so when his daddy comes back there's no room for him.But does he make the dog move?NO.HE SLEEPS ON THE COUCH and whines about it all the next day. When confronted he just says "But he did'nt feel good and he wanted you.And besides he needed to be comfortable too."
They have their very own swimming pool out back.
Christian Dior Dog Carrier? I'd say I'm WAY ahead of you in the spending and spoiling dept. if you're looking for an excuse to go shopping.

I don't see anything wrong with Bella being your quasi-human companion and friend, I treat my dogs the same. However, in my opinion, designer items are not for Bella, they are for you. Just do everything for Bella's happiness and comfort, what other people think about Bella's accessories is of no consequence in the end. Frequently our fur-children are happier with a comfortable ratty old blanket than a designer bed.

It's your money! You worked for it and can do with it whatever you want!!!!!! I think it's great that you love your dog to give her the best! Go check-out Jay who has a West Highland Terrier. He leave that dog in his bathroom for 10 hours! I think I would rather hear about someone that carries their dog every where. Then something like that!

Expensive yes, but not wrong. Many people treat their pets like children. As long as you're not starving so your dog can be decked out in Dior, buy her all the doggy accessories she needs :)

If you feel as if the dog is your baby, then by all means spoil her. I know some people who have children and dogs. They treat their dogs just as well as they treat their children. It is not bad.

Not at all . My dogs are part of family. They sleep with me at night , sleep on my couch during the day.I guess you could say they are spoiled. They go out when they want ,and come in when they want. What's the sense in having a dog if you don't treat the dog as part of your family.

I wouldn't say that it is bad. At least your dog is cared for and not tied in the back yard and ignored all the time.

No that's not bad, it's your pet and obviously you love her very much.
But trying to explain your behavior to others who may not understand can be difficult. Balance your extravagance on your pooch by contributing a donation to your local humane society or shelter. It will be greatly appreciated, you'll be helping the homeless animals and you can always make the donation in your dog's name.
