a 30 min workout or a 30min workout broken into 10 min parts? or is it the same?

a 30 min workout is about the minimum required to obtain a cardiovascular benefit. 10 min is too short.

I would say the 30 minute workout. If you can increase your heart rate and keep it up for a while you will get a better cardio burn. 10 minutes is for baby beginners.

well...it is good to get your body moving/heart rate up multiple times per day...but 10 minutes is pretty short...you could maybe try 20 minutes 3 times per day or something like that. or even two 1/2 hour workouts per day.
