Tell him to simply brush your teeth after each meal. If not at home, tell him to keep mints with him and pop one in his mouth after finished eating each meal. Along with normal hygiene (brushing in morning and evening) these techniques should work. Bad breathe can be caused simply by what you may be eating, or bacteria that grows in your mouth if not hygenic.

Familiar site, that quite common and sometimes it occurs without the intent of the person, even if they brush regularly. Best advice, keep some tick-tacks handy and give him a few and pop some yourself not to be rude!

If you are good friends and you can just tell him his breathe reaks, tell him to eat parsley on a daily basis and make sure to brush his tongue, floss and gargle (preferably with Listerine)

there's no real good way to tell someone they have bad breath.... i would stay away from the breathing area, if i were you....back away from the bad breath....and not slowly.

give him a mint and you get it by not brushing your teeth or not brushing your tounge! if you don't brush your tounge then you have bad breathe for rest of the day!

He probably is not brushing his tongue right or not doing it at all. Just offer him some gum.
