depending o the gear ratio of the keep it may do pretty fair on gas,,the one thing that might hurt it is the rv cam,,it may have good slow end pulling power, but the top end speed may make it use a lot of fuel,,rv cams are generally designed to deliver low end power for take off,s,,and heavy pulling,,you may not get the mileage,,your wanting from it,, a Chevy 305 in my jeep a few years ago,,and it was all stock,,it got pretty good mileage,,but i t was all stock ,,and it was a low mileage engine,,a lot is going to depend on how you drive it,,i figure probably around 10-14 may be for your,s,,maybe more,,but i doubt it,, i have done a lot of engine swaps before ,,i o own a repair shop,,and we do a lot of weird swaps here,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

Did you all know that the original Model T got around 24 MPG. U.S. carmakers have had their heads up their arses recently, and are way behind on making more fuel efficient cars, making way for record sales of Honda's and Toyota's. I won't buy American anymore - because of the gas mileage for one, but mostly because the quality of American vehicles is so far behind the Japanese.
