Every senitent being in the Universe is somewhere on a spiritual path, each at their own level of understanding, each progressing at their own pace.

As you progress, you will come to the realize this. After that time, you won't feel the desire to ask such questions.

May you be happy,
May you be free from suffering,
may you be at peace...

They find something that they have faith in their religions. It's what they know, what they have been taught, they follow. But you shouldn't disrespect other's personal beliefs. Although you are not alone doing this on this forum but always start by correcting yourself.
How can you be sure that what you follow is right? Many people follow only follow that which they have been brought up knowing. Also, you can't tell or judge who will go to hell and who to heaven. Only God is the judge of that.
In Hinduism there is no heaven and hell. They believe in re-incarnation.

People in all religions suffer with faith. They are not sure whether it is real or not. However, it is their way of life. Whether or not God exists or not (I believe he does) it's a way of living.

Maybe there is no afterlife. Maybe the eternal life Jesus spoke of is humanity existing for eternity. At least as long as we can. Hell is when people do wrong to each other. When there's no love.

Wow.

Anyway, I have strong faith in God. I am a devout catholic, but that doesn't mean I'm perfect. I sin, and go to confession. I question my faith at times, but having dealt with that for a long time I realized: This is my way of life. This is what I chose. It's much better than the way I used to live. That way was killing me. Having faith in Jesus Christ is giving me hope.

So, perhaps those other people are unsure whether God is real or not, but it is the way of life they have chosen. The truth will reveal itself eventually. All who seek God will find him. If you told me I'd be a christian, let alone a catholic, I would have laughed in your face. I know much about other religions, and spent 3-5 years meditating nearly every day. I reached the point of "enlightenment". I've opened my crown chakra. Yet from all that I recognized that regardless of how I got there Jesus was the truth.

So let people walk their path. If they genuinely seek God they will find him. As the Lord said, "All who seek me will find me".

You are the FOOL for asking such a foolish question!
What faith do you think is not fake - and why.
Your faith in any religion does not mean you go to hell -
it is your actions towards mankind that will pave the way
to haven or hell. And you - dear unfortunate soul - are on
your way to down.

Never have anything to do with likes and dislikes. The absence of what one likes is painful, as is the presence of what one dislikes. Therefore don't take a liking to anything. To lose what one likes is hard, but there are no bonds for those who have no likes and dislikes. From preference arises sorrow, from preference arises fear, but he who is freed from preference has no sorrow and certainly no fear. - Buddha -

Flawless logic. Prefrence and desire causes suffering. Buddha offered a way to cut desire from your life and live a life free of desire and thus free of suffering. Many people claim buddhism is a false religion but how can it be false when nothing is worshipped? Your logic is more holes than subtance.

it is none of ur and my business to judge someone elses' faith and beleif. and who the hell has given u the right to judge other people's decision. LIVE AND LET LIVE.

let me tell u, i have more than a dozen hindu freinds and i live in a mixed culture (esp buddhists) where people live in harmony inspite of differences in religion, culture and tradition. so one more word against them, u will be history.

learn to live in harmony with others, if u cant then keep urself isolated. some people cant keep themselves happy and u are one among them.

may Allah guide u in the right path and remove the blind-fold on ur eyes, so that u will enjoy the beauty of others too.

Why do people follow Christianitiy when everyone knows it is more a fake than the ones that you mention? I guess there's a sucker born every minute. Are you one of them, by the way?

I don't believe in hinduism or buddhism, because I'm Christian but they're thinking the same thing about people who don't believe in what they believe in. You don't have to believe what other people believe but you should still respect it :)

Wake up you freak! Your use of the term "everyone" is absolutely wrong! It not only shows your intelligence, but it also shows your ignorance!

I may be wrong, but you sound like a freak, bible-thumping christian! If by chance, I am correct... I would like to point out that 67% of the world population believes that you (we) are the one(s) doomed to hell !!!
