well he has never bought me a beer, so no.
Seriously, to love something that is unproved verses a fellow person who is tangible is absurd. I guess it depends on your definition of love - it has become so widely used it has almost become meaningless. I would say I love ice cream, for example, i would say I love to watch football, but i would never tell a girl that I loved her unless I really did and in the old fashioned sense of the word. There are times when the word love is just a throw away comment and one when you really mean it.
I would hope that most of the people on here that said yes to loving god more than fellow man are using it in the throw away version. If their partner or child read this and asked if they really loved god more than them, i am guessing they would recant.
i don't know if you have young children - but if you do could you explain that they are second to god when it comes to love and affection? It would be a hard person that could, and it would be very unchristainlike too!

Yes. Although I love my fellow man very much, God always overrides.
For example, if someone I loved very much expected me or caused me in some way to go against God, God would always win in the end. I mean there's always times we may do this because we are human and want to be loved by our fellow man as well but I would try to never get stuck continually trying to please man while I'm disobeying God.

Yes, God is first, our fellow man is second. However, if one does not love his fellow man, he can not love God. One can not have one without the other.

Yes, but at the same time, you have to realize, that your fellow man is what makes up the body of Christ, and so in that you have to acknowledge God's Spirit in them.
