John Kerry risked his life in Vietnam, served bravely and honoraboy, and was even shot. Yet there are people who spread lies about his brave service for his country. I think it's outrageous that our brave soldiers are slandered. What do you think?

~Given the way you loaded your question, you don't care what I think. However, one who would have me arrested for speaking my mind would certainly be a traitor to the Constitution which John Kerry was sworn to uphold and protect. Slander is one thing, treason is quite another. There is an appropriate remedy in place for each. Confusing the two is not only stupid, but dangerous. When one surrenders (or rescinds) rights under the guise of patriotism (does the term "Patriot Act" come to mind?), one embraces despotism and enslavement.

John Kerry was NOT shot. He was awarded three Purple Heart Medals ostensibly for shrapnel wounds. He refuses to release his medical records.

Other claims he has made regarding his Naval service have been shown to be false - notably his claim that he spent Christmas Eve 1968 in Cambodia because of the orders of President Nixon. Apparently he forgot that Richard Nixon was not sworn in as President until January 20, 1969. Additionally there are no morning reports, written orders, communication logs or fire support plans to substantiate his claim that he had ever been ordered into Cambodia.

According to his own statements he either threw his medals, his ribbons or someone else' medals over the White House fence. Not all of those statements can be correct.

While still a commissioned officer in the United States Naval Reserve, he met with senior members of the government of North Viet Nam in Paris thus giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

John Kerry married well twice.

Would you care to show which, if any, of the above statements is untrue?

Hanoi John Kerry is a commie traitor and lied about me and the other Vietnam veterans who served honorably
in Vietnam as baby killers and all this untrue garbage in 1971 and while still in the US Naval Reserves went to Paris and had a meeting with the North Vietnam delegation to help end the war. He violated his oath of office to the US and to the US Navy. This SOB did not serve honorably or bravely in Vietnam. His so called "wounds" wer nothing , but band-aid cuts.
His medals are a big question also. Hanoi john kerry is unfit for command and the Senate of the USA!!!
As for the rest of your question, it is slanderous and traitorous for "people" who have never served in the US Military to spread vicious lies about them. These people should be rounded up and sent into the military to see what it is like to be on call 24/7 and to risk your life.BTW,
Hanoi John Kerry was never shot.

he also spread lies about the other people that fought hard and long in Vietnam. He got Three purple heart, once he got shot, once he threw a grenade and got hit with his own shrapnel and the third was a minor injury that he had a medical assistant sign of on so that he could get out of their. He told some of the worst lies that he could, his tour was on the outskirts of Vietnam and he lied about what was happening on the front lines, like he had ever been their. Kerry is a Coward and a liar, But yes they are generaly traitors in my book but their are exepctions

I think if the shoe fits, wear it! In the case of John Kerry, it is his own peer group that is the first to slander him for his antics in Vietnam. There are those who have suggested that Kerry had an agenda to get himself rotated back to the world by garnering 3 Purple Hearts.
It is suggested, quite convincingly I might add, that Kerry would deliberately place himself in harms way to catch a fragment from a grenade that he himself threw, or would otherwise find a way to receive enough injury to qualify for a purple heart, but not so much that it would cause serious and debilitating injury. John Kerry's wounds were all superficial, and to my recollection none were injuries due to being shot.
If you choose to call me a traitor, go ahead, but say it to my face, so I can in turn, rips yours off. I will also say that John Kerry is a gutless wonder who will never serve this country in any greater capacity than he has already. You see boy, this phony is despised by most veterans.
One more thing genius, I was serving this country as a US Marine when Kerry was still pissin in his pants, so don't preach to me about the virtues of MR. Liberal, the other senator from Massachusetts.

It is outrageous. I mean, there are some bad people out there who slip through the cracks and make it into the military. It seems like a lot of people let those few bad seeds give us the impression for soldiers as a whole. My bf bravely served in Iraq. He chose to join the military to defend and keep our country free. I say to all those people who want to talk crap.. maybe we should draft them over there.

I also think it is an outrage. Love him or hate him John Kerry or any other American that risked their life should be treated with dignity and respect. Those are the people that chose to do what most of us wouldn't and entered our armed forces, they protect the rights that allow us to sit here and talk **** about them. So be it him or Joe Blow on the street they all deserve the upmost respect.

I think the authority on him being brave or not rests with those who served with him and under him. Getting shot doesn't make you brave, even cowards die in war. If those who served with him say he was a good man then let it be as they say, if not then he wasn't. It's does not matter if you like him or not, the ones who really knew him then were there with him, regardless of what he claims, I'll take their word over his.

Anyone who has been in combat knows that the people around you can mean your life, so you know which ones you can trust.

Because other brave soldiers who served with Kerry say he shot himself (in order to get enough purple hearts to be sent home). That’s brave an honorable service? or are you calling the other soldiers who "served bravely and honoraboy" (honorably) traitors and liars?

Having served doesn’t make you perfect. But our service men (and women) should receive the benefit of the doubt until all the facts are in.

Where was this outrage when Clinton (and outright admitted draft dodger) was running against Bush Sr (who served) and Dole (who served and received life long injuries)

I don't know if John Kerry is a good example.

Kerry got a shrapnel wound and his commander refused to award him a purple heart because it was believed that it might of been accidentally self inflicted. That is far from being "shot".

He was also an anti-war activist. These are FACTS.
