*Dancing* Dear sweet serene Rev Trask, while I love your musical taste and while I certainly won't take it, I believe you are suffering from paranoia. May your kind forgiving irritating soul be blessed.

If you mean we're not going to take the "hate" anymore, definitely not. It's not fun to be ridiculed, that's for sure. But I do think we can't give up on them. I almost understand why they act the way they do considering our society. So I'll continue to be kind to them and if I can plant some seeds, at least I did something. Even to the worst of haters, I would gladly talk to them about God if they gave me the chance. Fighting back will probably just make non-Christians think we are worse than they already perceive.

You're not gonna take what? Americans not wanting fundies to eviscerate our constitution and set up a christian state? Or are you not gonna take all these people understanding at last how the bible was cobbled together, suppressing parts, making up parts (he who is without stone is in no document until 400 AD!), emphasizing baloney like faith and de-emphasizing the meat: works? what exactly are you not gonna take anymore and why do you think these things mean anyone hates you? they just aren't buying what you're selling.

No - because when someone feels attacked and acts on it, they show the lack of faith in their thought system. Best to just love others and not even feel like you're doing somethnig special by loving them (and especially avoid the feeling of seeing this as a method of attack where you love them to be 'above' them). Instead, look at what irritates and see what it's saying about yourself.
