I had a dream my friends brother came home from prison.
He had warts and was biting them off, then some kind of worms were coming out.
Freaked me out.

If you wake up in a dream, and you remember certain details clearly, ask God what it means. He will give you discernment of your dream.

God is pouring out His Spirit in greater measure now. Dreams, visions, interpretations, etc. are happening. Many times they are an answer to personal prayers. What have you been asking God? There are a lot of prophetic words for the church right now also.

Also, I have known some to have dreams or visions of where a missing person was. One person prayed with others for said missing person. God showed her where the missing friend was in a dream. Another person had a dream of someone trapped and on the way to work passed an area looking suspicious, returned because the dream nagged on him and found a man trapped in a vehicle below. These two cases were in the news.

The Bible indicates that God revealed His will to selected people through dreams or visions in Scriptures such as Genesis 8:12; 37:5-10; 1 Kings 3:5-15; Daniel, chapters 2 and 7; Matthew 1:20; 2:13,19; and Acts 10:9-16; 16:9. God may communicate through dreams or visions even today, but we need to carefully check any such guidance we receive with Scripture and godly counsel to be sure it is from the Lord. Anything which contradicts Scripture is not from God. Our minds and even Satan are capable of producing great deception in such subjective areas. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 shows that God has revealed His will to us primarily through His Word. It says, "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahansmaniac Community member suggests the following.

It's not a question of belief. It's a fact that dreams are reflections of the subconscious mind. Read some Freud works on dream analysis, he is amazing in explaining the various techniques and elements.

One way or the other dreams do have meanings.

Dreams help you to work out problems in you daily life. Nightmares are a release of stress or concerns.

And sometimes I do believe (in fact I know) that dreams can predict things. It's happened to me twice-neither time was pleasant but both events changed my life. One event happened within two hours of the dream itself. The other, within 24 hours.

Every dream has meaning, its ur conscious mind trieng to tell u that ur missing something in ur life or puts images about what worries u the most. Sometimes you can see the future in ur dreams but you forgett because ur brain is not develpoed to function that way. Every dream u have u should write it down and lo0ok for whats its meaning to u.

During the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) stage of sleep, unfulfilled emotional expectations left over from the day are run out in the form of metaphors, thus deactivating them and freeing up the brain to deal with the new emotionally arousing events of the following day.

Read any psychology book and you'll see that dreams contain deeper manifestations within the subconscience mind. Now if your talking about psychic dreams or something, that's really up to your own discretion.

yes, dreams do have meaning, most of the times, it reflects your personality, inner self. However, many times our dreams are triggered by daily activities, actual events, media effic and personal experience. Some times, they are just plain dreams, but yes more or less they show our subconscious minds and they do have meanings.
