i don't know alot about camerea, but i bought an olympus stylus 700 from hsn.com. it was on sale for $299, they even had flex pay, it is the best 299 i have ever spent. good luck

sony cybershot. theyre good for beginners and their not very expensive. i have one and i it got a year and a half ago. its very durable and easy to use.
