My cat loves the tub, he goes in it all the time. He curls up and falls asleep in there.

Cats sleep in weird spots and positions. For me usually I have to share my bed with my cat(s). Unfortunately for me, their half is right in the middle.

Lots of cats sleep in tubs-- I've seen it a many times over the years. They like the cool, smooth feel--PLUS they can have a nice private space all to themselves... You know how cats love being aloof.

My cat loves the tub too. I've always assumed it was because it feels cool....my house is a little warm because my A/C doesn't work all that well. Or he may just like the semi-confinement of it. Cats tend to like closed spaces.

cats love the cool feel of porcelain against their fur.
There is actually a whole website dedicated to showing photos of cats that sleep in sinks. I guess the title sounded better than "Cats in Tubs"

Well, it'll lessen the amount of cat hair on the furniture. Mine, bless her little kitty heart (that's a Southern thing, y'all), if the litter box is not quite clean enough does her business right over the tub drain. I suppose she's trying to do the right thing.

Keep the door closed or you will be cleaning it all the time. My cat just loves to walk in there after someone takes a shower, so needless to say my bathrooms are off limits to any four legged friends.

My cat sleeps everywhere....Like at this moment he's sleeping on top of my desk.....on my bed....on my chair...under my bed...in the tub...in the shower....i've even had a cat that would climb into a grocery bag and go to sleep!!

There is a poem called "Cats Sleep Anywhere." You can probably find it by searching around with your computer. It is a cute poem very descriptive of cats' sleeping behavior.
