"Friends with benefits" just basically means a person you consider a friend, and don't want a serious relationship with, but you sleep with them. It's just basically a booty call with someone who knows it is just a booty call. No strings attached, and you still maintain a friendship. Although, in my book, I think it would be difficult to not eventually catch feelings. . .

That means it´s a person you have sexual relations with, without the emotions and commitment. It´s a friendship based on sex. Nothing more.

if u dont wanna be tied down(relationship).you can get a friend who dont wanna be tied down either(no strings attached).and you both have sex meet on a regular basis just for pleasure.
