It is POSSIBLE, but not LIKELY. All these other people answering 'yes' didn't read your question. Beer has such a low alcohol volume per water that your body will most likely fill up and vomit before you get enough alcohol in it to give you poisoning. It is possible yes, but more likely from wine or hard liquor.

Short answer - no.
Long answer - It's likelyhood depends on how much you drink, there isn't a set number for getting alcohol poisoning. If you drink (depending on your height, wieght, fat to muscle ration, ect.) 20 or 30 beers in a few hours, it is fairly likely if you drink a lot and extremely likely if you don't. So I can't just say a simple yes or no. If all you are looking for is that then I say no then, but I don't advise drinking too much.

Probably not as likely than if you were to drink something with a higher alcohol content - or drink the beer in combination with other drugs - or have a low tolerance for alcohol.

answer is, "YES" you can. Beer and hard alcohol all make you drunk and when consumed in large quantities it will make you sick. That is why people tend to puke and get hangovers; the body is basically being fed poison when you drink and that is why it tries so hard to expel the waste content. Do not believe the saying,"If you drink beer before liquor you will get drunk quicker, and liquor before beer you get sicker." All alcohol has the same alcoholic content it is all in the amount you consume.

Yes you can. I worked in a hospital and I went to draw a mans blood level and by the time I got back to the lab he was dead. He had been drinking nothing but beer. Very sad..... But very true

It all depends on how much you drink-- not the type of alcoholic beverage.
I have known people who have had alcohol poisoning from beer.

you would have to drink a bunch in a short period of time how much I don't really know I think it is nearly impossible to do because of the low amount of alcohol in beer
