Check the animal websites but I'm pretty sure a low dose of bendryl is appropriate along with water and cleaning the wound properly.

You MUST check the amount of benedryl to give based on the animals size. Some pet care sites have weight dosage info you will need.

In my area (ohio) they have a vet hotline... if your dog is showing any symptoms call and ask... dogs dont react to spider bites exactly the same way as people do. I would call or go to the vet to be sure....

hmm... you know if your dog is acting normal i wouldnt even worrie about it, dogs are not the same as people, they wont be as sickened by spider bites as we would be, i live in arizona and there are all sorts of poisenous things running around outside , my dog has been stung by a few different things and has always been ok, you need to keep an eye on him though, if he starts throwing up or get weak or acting weird you need to just take him to a vet. my guess is he will be fine.

Take your dog to the vet. It will be less painful for your dog in the long run. Besides the vets went to medical school and they know what PROPER things to do.

I would take it to the pet emergency clinic or your vet if they are open. If it is black widow the faster you get there the better.

None that I know of. Call your vet and ask them. You'll probably need to rush your dog to the vet. Those are bad spiders.
