Here is my batter recipe, I use it for onion rings, zucchini, califlower, broccoli
1 cup flour
1/2 cup corn starch
1/2 cup corn meal
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1 egg
1 cup COLD water
2 tbsp. oil
Beat all ingredients together and dip vegetables in until well coated and deep fry until golden brown
The secret is to keep the batter very cold. I float the bowl of batter in a bigger bowl of ice water.
YYUUUUUMMMMM :-D

I do not like any kind of zucchini at all, but that's because I'm a picky eater. I've actually tried it and I didn't like it.

I refused to eat it as a child until my mom called them "squash cookies". Since then I've never had enough.
