Does anyone know if airplanes carry tranquilizers on board?... If u know plz show proof.

planes based in the united states do not, but in the 50's and 60's they did. Many planes based in other countries do, as some tranq's are over the counter in those countries.

Seems to be some confusion over your question.
Do you mean tranquilizers, like valium or percodan, some sort of drug that you can take to calm down or konk out? If that's your question, the answer is no. If the airline gave you meds and you got sick, you could sue them. Worse if you died! And it's highly illegal to dispense prescription drugs unless you're a licensed medical doctor.
Or do you mean a tazer or similar, something that will shock or stun an attacker? If that is the case, then the answer is sometimes. There is a little bit of training required to use a tazer so the crew has to know how to use it before it can go on the plane. Even then, not all the planes get them. It's still a pretty new idea and the airlines are trying to figure out how to best use (or not use) them to protect the crew and passengers.

No way. They couldn't possibly administer a tranquilizer to anyone without a doctor prescribing it.

My husband said they do because he's seen it. They keep it up front where the supplies are at. He's in the Airforce and works at the Air Terminal section of the base.

No. They don't carry any weapons other than a few emergency supplies on board.
