Start writing down the important things you need to do,such as what movie you have been dying to see ,or rent, shopping list, bills that need to get paid.
Start a notebook,and use it .
This will allow you to pursue other interest in your life ,without getting bogged down with minor details of remembering what you need to get done.
Also memoriziation by association is an excellant trick to remember things.
I recently moved to a new area and try to remember different streets ,malls ,shopping center names,by associations.. acronyms..
They could be stupid things ..such as for eg.
I kept forgeting the name of a major mall in the area I live...
so i remembered..PMS ..stands for Park Meadows Mall...
I remember numbers usually by association also..,I relate numbers to football player numbers..or birthdays,or years that people were born that I know.
Good luck .

I will go on a limb and say that if this matter concerned you enough, you would be posing this question to a professional health-care provider. So many factors need to be taken into consideration. However, I will take a stab at this.
Three come to mind immediately; age is a factor and thus that's the way the cookie crumbles; you could be on medications and that symptom is temporary and third; you are very stressed out and thus you are very distracted.
Now look here, seriously though you really must have this checked out. If you are a senior (over 65) medicare will take care of your tests. If you are younger and have no health insurance (welcome to the world of 17 million), you can still seek help. Call your local hospital or medical registry because there are several doctors who on the behalf of the drug manufacturers conduct all sorts of studies.
If you qualify, you will receive a full check-up, place into the program and you will even get reimbursed for you travel expenses and possibly for your participation.
Go quickly, check this out and GOOD LUCK!

Are you forgetful about everything or just some things? You could try some meditation and relaxation excercises to calm your mind. Don't forget to get enough sleep and take vitamins. Also--make lists if you have trouble staying focused in general.

It is usually caused by stress.
A good way to get more focused is to do aerobics.
Releases the stress better and gets the blood flowing better thru the brain.
