o.k...theres this teacher at school....who teaches u.s history....and when ever i go up to him to ask a question (i go up to him because when ever i raise my hand he ignores me) he turns his back on me...and goes to answer someone elses question instead....and then when he got to his desk ( i made sure he couldn't leave so i could ask my question) he said he didn't have time to answer it because he was taking attendance...but right after he said that he was taking attendance he went to go answer another students question instead of my own...after saying he needed to take attendance...

Whats the matter with this teacher...its a new school year...i haven't done anything bad....yet...lol...but i don't get it...whats his problem...or am i being paranoid?

Sounds like he's a jerk. I would see how it goes, and if he continues, tell your parents and report him to the principle./

I would take the situation up with your pricipal or student councelor if you beleive you are being unfairly treated. It sounds like he is deliberately ignoring you and no teacher should ignore a student. Report this incident and the situation will be taken care of and if it is not. Then you should tell your parents and have them take it up with the school board. First you may just want to confidentially ask him why he is doing this if he denies it and continues or reprimands you for it then it should be handled appropriately through the pricipal or councelor. Good luck

Your not paranoid. You just have a bad teacher. You should try asking some classmates if the teacher wont help you at all. You can also tell your counselor or principal about it and maybe one of them will let you switch teachers. Tell your parents about this situation. I'm sure they can do something to make the school fix this situation.

I suggest telling him how you feel. Speak to him alone after class and see if that helps. You might see if other students feel the same that you do. If talking to him doesn't help, I assume your next step would be to talk to your guidance counselor. Explain that you tried to talk to this teacher and it doesn't seem to help. Try to get transferred to another class. Tell your guidance counselor that you do not want your grades to suffer because you are not getting the help that you need.

This teacher may have it in for you. What's his problem though ? You need to figure out a way to corner him. Maybe you and a friend can go up at the same time for questions that way he's forced to answer yours and your friends.

Sounds like he has a problem with you. The best way to deal with that is to catch him alone and straight up ask him what you have done to deserve to be treated like that.

If it keeps happening it may be a problem, if you really think so, try asking him after class and explain how you feel. If that doesn't solve the problem report him!

i think you're on to something. (maybe your rep proceeds you j/k). in all seriousness, i would talk to your guidance counselor about it and maybe get switched to a different class with a different teacher. if you get nowhere there talk to your parents, let them know how you are feeling and that your worried about your grades in this class. good luck!
