What are you going to renew it with? What form of ID?

The Texas Department of Public Safety will run you to check the status of your most current drivers license. No, they won't issue you a new driver's license if your driver's license is suspended in another state.

yes but you have to write the main DMV in Michigan and they'll tell you you can't go back for 3 yrs or the suspension will start over.

If you had a texas licence, it would have had to be surrendered or should have to get a licence in Michigan.

But it is illegal to lie or falsify your application for another licence.
