i guess it's pretty much like trying to insult...or....trying to show bad things about other religions in order to prevent people to convert...
what i've seen is...
Christians and Muslims insult each other at every chance.
Jews prefer asking ''Is it true that muslims will have 76 virgins'' kind of questions.
Muslims usually answer questions about their religion.
Christians prefer answering to atheist questions more than others.
Atheists are making quite a progress here :) (if we don't count the ''Can God create a bigger rock than himself?'' question)

Muslims put some verses or sections from Koran for advertisement :)
Christians do the same thing from the Bible.

And once in a while there comes someone saying ''You'll BURN in hell for not believing Jesus'' or ''I hope Allah forgives you because of not following his path..INFIDELS'' kind of people.

If i were looking for a new religion by coming here...i would definitely choose being an atheist or Buddhist after seeing all the insults and arguments going on between religions.

I may share the Word of the Lord with others, but I'm not trying to "convert" anyone. I'm just following my beliefs - to share the news of eternal life with others. If you choose to seek the Lord, I'm happy for you. If you choose to be a non-believer or to stay with another religion, I'm accepting of that. You have to make the choice.

There are those of us who are Christian do use Answers to plant seeds but to convert people to a religious order. No.
I can't speak for all the others out there but it seems to me that most are here to curse, belittle, and just disrupt.><>

I honestly don't know. It is possible. There are people out there that like to argue and say "I am right and you are not" There are people that like to shove their beliefs at others when in reality that is not the way to convert people. That is the way that you scare them away.

I think atheists are trying to convert me! I would have thought people would come here to have their questions about religions and faith answered instead of calling believers idiots and such.

Of course, my life has forever been changed and I have eternal hope that I want to share with anyone who will listen. Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, His tomb is empty and His body is not here because He lives and is still working and ministering today.
