I think this is a valid question. What many people dont realise is that it only takes 1 tablespoon of water to drown.....
I think he would get charged with involuntary manslaughter, being that the person who drowned gave consent for the baptism, it is not seen as activity that could lead to death and it was accidental.

Do you know of that happening? Certainly it would be an odd case. But priests/ ministers are human. If there is evidence to suggest murder, with motive, I don't see how a church could, or why the would, try to get him out of court, especially since baptism should be only a few seconds no?

there should be a new mandatory rule:wear diving goggles during a baptism.
holy man becomes evil man if he deliberately drowns someone.so this bastard should go to trial, then jail time for 100 years.

How could you drown someone? You are only under for about 5 seconds at most. Do you think that they give a speach while you are under?

Good question.
I think he'll need to go to jail for that one. Take away his parking spot in the lot at the very least.

It depends on whether he held the person down way too long or if the person was just dumb enough to breath under water. you decide

That's sick. The church wouldn't be allowed to get him off.
