Faith without works is dead. Religion is the practical application
of spiritual things in our daily lives. Associating with positive
people. Reading inspirational and motivational material.
Meditation, (quiet reflection). And prayer, which keeps the lines
of communication open to our Highest Power.

Faith is not part of religion.

You're not born with faith, you don't get faith when you go to church. Faith is a human emotion. Love, Hate, Joy, Sorrow, Faith, all of these things are emotions. You express them. You practice faith just as you practice love and joy.

Religion is only a device in which to practice faith. It's unfortunate that religion has been equated to what is only a human emotion. People, religious people especailly, have no practical ability to express faith. They are the most cynical. Do you have faith in your best friend, your doctor, your mother. Do you have faith in yourself?

It is the most important.

Anyone can have religion. I had "religion" as a child. My mother made me go to church every Sunday. I bowed in prayer when I was told. I sang the hymns. I followed along with the sermon. I didn't really have "faith" until I was an adult and felt the presence of the Lord. I now know He's real. I believe in the Lord with all of my heart. Faith is definitely more important.

I think faith. I don't follow an organized religion real close but I have a strong faith in God that my children are watched over everyday and that I can pray to Him everynight and He hears me and understands. Faith is everyday in your heart. Some people stop experiencing religion when they walk out of a church.
