I'm planning to park my car and take the PATH subway system from New Jersey to New York City. Which of the PATH stations would be the best place (namely safest, and easiest to park) to leave my car? Newark-Penn station? Harrison? Journal Square? Grove? Hoboken? Exchange PI?

I parked at the Hilton Hotel across from the Newark Penn Station train station. I found the surroundings to be pretty safe and even received a break on the parking fare (although I'm not sure if they do this anymore)

I'd suggest Pavonia/Newport, it is a very safe area with lots of new office buildings with parking garages. Parking in Hoboken is tough. THe person who said parking near PATH isn't safe has absolutely no clue and does not know what they are talking about. Thousands of people take the PATH, it runs 24 hours a day and I haven't heard of an incident there in recent memory.
