It wasn't so much the class or the material but the personality of the teacher that made my senior year english class memorable. He was knowledgeable, well prepared for each class, helpful, fair, and humorous. Best of all he gave second chances to those who needed it. I've tried to emulate him in all I do.

Algebra - even after 30 years, I still use the principles of algebra in every day life. for example, trying to figure out sales prices. 30% off = ?. Easy to do if you remember your algebra. Even those damn word problems that I hated then seem to help now.
I hated PE. I was so clumsy and allowed the "in" girls to make me feel worse!
