We hit it off from the minute we met. A connection like I've never had before and after only 3 months we are very much in love. (I'm in love like never before and I feel he is THE ONE.) He is such a light sleeper that I keep him awake at night...so much that he usually ends up on the couch. (His alarm is the sound of crickets and he actually wakes up to that!!) I've never had this problem with anyone before and feel that HE is as much to "blame" for his lack of sleep as I am. (He had the same trouble with his last GF.) We have everything in eachother that we have been searching for, so how do we get past this? I don't want to lose him over something so trivial and I'm afraid if something doesn't change to make his sleep more peaceful we may not ever be able to live together...which is something he has already brought up. I'm 36 years old and not in a relationship for short term. I told him that and we both need an answer - or some ideas on how to solve this issue. HELP!!!!

you need to fix this problem as soon as possible because you will be surprised by the problems a lack of sleep can cause including resentment. my partner is an extremely loud snorer. he is so loud that if i close the door and go into another room on the other side of the apartment and close that door i can still hear him. i sleep with ear plugs every night and if it gets too bad he sleeps in the spare room for the night. the moral to this story is we both compromised because we love each other. if this guy is the one you need to look at all the options and work out the best for both of you. don't play the blame game it is dangerous. good luck.

I can relate to your story. I am a light sleeper and my husband is not. We had a really difficult time sleeping together the first year, until I figured out that if we have separate blankets, it makes it easier to sleep (since he isn't tugging at mine). Another thing he can do is use ear plugs and that may help block out noise for him. I hope this helps. Good luck!

i'm 22 years old and that i've got precisely the comparable project. i'm terrified to sleep on my own and if I do it takes me constantly to doze off. I constantly could desire to have the mild on, night lights fixtures won't do it for me, there won't be in a position to be any darkish spots in my room. even although i detect the mild so stressful while i'm attempting to sleep. when I be able to start up falling asleep i think of I think of noises that at the instant are not rather there and that they wake me up and that i'm terrified as quickly as greater and my adrenaline is pumping so i'm back to sq. a million. i'm petrified of the belief of ever coming head to head with a ghost or demon. I in no way lay flat on my back when I sleep I could desire to sleep on my element or abdomen using fact i've got study maximum of information approximately human beings having an adventure the place a demon jumps on their bodies at night whilst they're asleep and this is hardship-loose while they lay on their backs;this is a hardship-loose place for astroprojection and sleep paralysis. i'm so paranoid of being on my own or sound asleep on my own. i'm able to sleep at evening if somebody is w/me

you need to go to the doctor about this problem, the doctor can help you stop talking in your sleep. So, yeah I think you should see a doc about it.

you do not have to sleep in the same bed, you know. two twins in the same room, or two adjoining rooms work.
