when they see a girl they know (college age men)? When male buddies are around they ignore the girl/don't make eye contact, talk lound and obnoxious - but when friends are absent - they are all up in the girl's face like she's his gf? even if it's a girl they have never had sex with.... what is up with guys that do that!

lol. i'm not a "fatso." but I'm not a size 2 - not every woman who says she's curvy is a "fatso." I'm about a size 9/10, I'm 5'8.

P.S. you're lucky I don't come kick your ***, lol. don't think I can't.....

They aren't secure enough in themselves yet. Simple as that. Once you get a little older, you're fine with other guys seeing that you have a sensitive, caring, passionate side to you (presuming that you do..lol) Until you are comfortable enough with your own identity, you have to go out of your way to appear cool, aloof, not caring..other wise known as a d*ckhead...don't worry, they grow up eventually (most times)

Maybe you are curvy, but not so smart. Guys don't want to show their vulnerability around other guys. They want to be cool and macho.Personally, i'm not like that but a lot are. Basically it's a adolescent thing.Mature adults can show their soft side. OK ???
Now you're smart !!!!!!!!!!!

Young and stupid, sums it up. They are afraid of being teased by their buddies, about likeing a girl. Believe me, most of those doing the teasing, feel the same way as the boy does.
Don't worry, they grow out of it, well at least most of them do.

I really don't appreciate that you've generalized all guys into this question, whether intentional or not. Those that are doing this are all not worthy of your time, and most will do it just to make themselves feel like the big man on campus.

They're just daft young men. I'm an old man, so perhaps not best placed to answer - I never behaved this way as a young man!

we are just trying to show off and play the girl down because we dont want our friends to know we like ya. but when we are alone we can tell you how we really feel about you without the ridicule of what our friends think.
