NO! It won't work and could make the dog sick! The only form of birth control for dogs is spaying/neutering. There are many health benefits for dogs that are spayed/neutered, and you'll helping cure the pet overpopulation problem.

I'm sure they could work, as there are some human meds used for dogs. My parents had a labrador that had epilepsy, the vet had him on one of the meds (don't remember right off which one) that is prescribed for humans.
But, if you don't intend to ever let her have pups, then save your money and have her spay.
Another form of birth-control is to not let her out when she's in heat, at least , not without a leash. and you can put vicks vapor rub on her hind end (it works! Been there and done that! I've put it on my male labs nose to, to confuse him. so he'd not try to get out of the yard, when there was a female in heat. after all, I didn't want to pay puppy support!!)

No. There are no "birth control" pills for dogs. Spay her instead or be prepared to deal with her being in heat and having puppies.

Just get your dog spayed. The birth control pills won't work, and if she's spayed, you know it will work.

NO! It wouldn't be good to give birth pills. It may cause liver damage to your pet. The only sure way is to spay.

I wouldn't think so. A human's cycle is every month, and bitches only go into heat about every 6 months.
