Maybe 2 hours ago I had my hair highlighted and the girl was new, she totally messed it up. It white just on top(yes, white not blonde) and completely brown under, AND it is like fried in the front where my bangs were suppose to be. It looks like I stood over a open flame and fried my hair. How soon can I highlight it again to fix the color problem without loosing all my hair!!!!!!!!????? Please be honest, dont tell me to do something that will make me go bald!

your hair sounds bad, you shouldn't color your hair again until all your fried hair is grown out. but to save the emergency, color the white parts of your hair with dyes without ammonia (maybe the color flirt? although it doesn't stay on long but at least it covers it) or find a dye that is made from natural herbs. it will only last a month but its better than white

to help treat your hair, deep conditioner it once a week for 5 min (try neutrogena deep conditioner (its in an orange bottle) and use a conditioner and shampoo for color treated hair. (try herbal essences). don't put your hair up too much, let it down to relax

and go back to the place where you got your highlights and request your money back and a treatment to help your hair, you deserve it.

good luck!

Call the salon and tell them that you are not happy at all with your color and you need it fixed right now. They should promptly condition your hair and recolor it in a couple of days. If I were you, I'd have about a quarter of an inch of your hair cut off after the corrective color. There are some really great color locking shampoos and conditions at the salon (Pureology) that are a little expensive but will be really good for your hair. Sorry that this happened and I hope that it works out better for you soon.

I had the same thing happen about 2 weeks before my wedding last year. That same day the salon recolored my hair to a more normal shade. It was kind of brassy and still a little bit off color so I choose to see a different colorist that a friend recommended and had it re-dyed about a week later. My hair was in good shape to start with and a little extra conditioner helped it get totally back in shape. Contact the salon and ask for one of their more experienced colorists to fix it and to do a conditioning treatment to help repair the damage. They owe you that at the very least.

You should probably have a professional fix this--trying to fix this at home could make it worse. If you had it done at a reputable salon, try to get one of the more experienced stylists who works there to fix it.

If you're forced to fix it at home, use a semi-permanent color that washes out (level 2, I think). These don't contain peroxide so they're less damaging to your hair.

And, if you can stand to have white hair on top for a few days, it's a good idea to give your hair and scalp a chance to recover before you dye your hair again. Try using an intensive conditioner for colored/damaged hair.

Ummm...I hope you didn't pay for the services, and if you did go back to that salon and have them fix it and give you your money back! Then again, you could sue...

You may just have to wait 'till it grows out and in the meantime, put some deep conditioning treatments on your hair.

Question, no offense but why would you want the "skunk" look in the first place? Why would you think this is attractive? I noticed this weird trend...

I would wear a hat for a couple of days, because if you keep dying your hair it will fall out. Go back to the salon and demand that they fix it or ask them for a refund so you can go somewhere where they can fix it for you, but wait a few days before you get it dyed again.

~~~FIRST! TAKE A PHOTO of your hair (Photos of all angles, and your scalp if there is any scalp dammage) incase you go back to the salon and they wont help you,,,, ANY court will take your side if you have photos,,,,,,you should go back to the salon and talk to the owner,,,,you need to have deep conditioning treatment,,,have your money returned to you if there not going to fix what they did,,,if they do repair what was done,,,they better "not" charge you for that,,, and I TOO was a hairdresser ~~~
