hi i know how horrible it is to watch my last cat gave birth in front of me as well, from what i can tell the cat will deal with it on her own more or less, you just need to help stroke her head and keep her calm, also have a towel and a cloth ready so you can help when the kittens come out becasue it comes out with a sort of rapper covering them try to clean it off as quick as you can, because i' not sure if they can breath with it on when they first come out.
hope all goes well take care

The best thing to do is just leave her alone... Sometimes cats get annoyed or upset with people around them that they bite into the kitten while eating the after birth!!
Be a good responsible pet owner and get her spayed, once the babies are old enough to be weened, so this doesnt happen again...... Toooooooo many unwanted kitties in this world.

Sounds like she hasn't expelled the placenta yet...give her a few minutes (no more than 5) and if she hasn't gotten further, call the vet. This is assuming the kitten is breathing/moving. If it's not...call the vet right now! They may not need to see her yet, but it never hurts to give them a heads-up or ask their advice. When it comes to labor difficulties, the sooner you act, the safer mom and kittens will be. That being said...with the extreme overpopulation of cats, you should really consider having her spayed.

She will sever the umbilical cord with her teeth. Let her do her job. And definitely let her nurse her kittens as long as she wants. It's important that she complete the whole cycle of her pregnancy and birth through the raising of her kittens. Otherwise she will suffer from hormonal urges that she can't see through.
And make sure that she is never pregnant again!

Just make sure its nose and mouth are clear and let her do the rest.
If it stops moving and she doesnt do anything then you'll need to rub its body with your finger to get the blood moving and it should wake up. Good luck!

maybe u should call a vet for advice but its not advisable to interfere with the kitten as the mother cat will ignore it if its held or touched.

There will probably be more coming. One kitten usually does not a litter make.
