my abortion was in july about 7 weeks ago. everything went well and i had minimal bleeding with no cramps so the DR said I was a very lucky one. i had my check up 2 weeks later, DR said there was no infection, everything was fine (i took all the pills they gave me to prevent infection) etc.
i finally got a regular period last week on 8/21 and it bled regularly for about 4 days then turned light brown and spotty for a bit. It's been 10 days and sometimes when i whipe my vagina its very light brown (hardly even there).. but only sometimes .. Is that normal? Also, is it possible to get pregnant right now if I were to have unprotected sex (this is a hypothetical question guys) even though when I whipe its a tiny bit brown sometimes? I know I will be ovualting 31st-4th (because I do the ovulation calculator now) so is it still possible to get pregnant.

Actually, no. I am not planning to have sex again until I am married. I wanted to know the odds simply because I am CURIOUS. FYI, I promote abstinence to my friends so they don't turn out like I did.
No excuses here, but I am not asking for your assumptions. I asked a question that has yet to be answered because the rest of you are too busy pretending you are perfect and assuming stuff.

yes you can get pregnant. did you get into this problem in the first place because you didn't use birth control? i am all for a woman's choice but abortion should not be a form of birth control for anyone. get on the pill and do it now.

Having light spotting is normal as long as there aren't any cramps or discomfort to go along with it. As far as if you can get pregnant if you have unprotected sex.........YEAH! It doesn't matter if you do the ovulation calendar or not, if you are having unprotected sex then there is always the possibility that you may become pregnant. I don't know how old you are but please learn your lesson, you just had an abortion (right, wrong or indifferent) you should be practicing very safe sex until you are ready for a child. I'm not trying to preach but don't use abortion as birth control, it doesn't work that way. You made one mistake, don't compound it by taking chances because you think you know when you're ovulating.

Its difficult to respond to your question as we've not got each and all of the information. you do not point out notwithstanding if she grew to become into seeing somebody or not, regardless of the reality that i'm presuming she did have a boyfriend or nonetheless does. So abortion is a threat, yet there's no way every physique at right here can answer that question wisely. the different threat is that she could desire to have lost weight. 3 months is 12 weeks. If she lost 2 pounds a week for 12 weeks that works out at around 24 pounds and that could desire to describe the flat abdomen. you're able to desire to purely ask her if she'd lost weight, tell her how sturdy she seems. If she did have an abortion and he or she'd wanted you to be responsive to, she'd have advised you already. She could come to a decision to show to you once you're a discreet pal, however the reality which you're at right here asking the worldwide approximately her difficulty, could desire to describe why she hasn't chosen to show to you if she did have an abortion or miscarriage.

(see unnecessary comment above)

You miss Dominican4ever lady are surely going to hell for being so judgmental per your own values obviously. If I was you're mom I would have wanted to see my future so I could have aborted you! I feel for your mother or maybe that's how you got to be the bitter judgmental person you are today. Who knows?

and that's my point. We don't know the situation so quit judging. Answer the question and move on folks!

to answer you: call the local hospital and just run this by a nurse. Check phone book b/c there is an 800 number to speak free to nurses or doctors if the hospital is too busy to talk. There are always hotlines for everything check online for the numbers, I think that would be better advice than any of us could give you, unless we had a doctor in the house!

wow... i love how there are a lot of "oooh you killed a baby" answers. [actually, i kind of hate it.. but i'm not here to debate abortion...] COME ON PEOPLE that wasnt her question. the question was if the brown spots were normal.

well, i can honestly say that i dont know the complete answer to it, since i have never had an abortion... however i sometimes get the light brown spots too... and my doc said nothing was wrong with it...

as for getting pregnant... i dont know either, however i'm pretty sure you can... if the sperm and the egg meet, you'll get pregnant... and since you have eggs... and with unprotected sex there's sperm... you can.

Well, you say your thoughts about having unprotected sex is "hypothetical". However, the fact that you are even asking if its possible sounds like you'd do it again. Do yourself a favor and get on birth control pronto!!

I think that anyone who has an abortion should be fixed permanently because you do not deserve to have kids.
