Maybe two or even three.
Depends if you are in a generous mood or not.

I have been delivering pizza for approximately a year now.

Delivery drivers (provided they are on time and friendly) should recieve the same 15% A waiter or waiteress should get. Thast means 3 bucks. Usually, i would be satisfied if someone gave me 10% on a 20$ order. Now if you had all sorts of retarded requests (bring me 2 empty cups and deliver it to the shed behind the house) you might wanna bump up the tip a bit. If the driver arrives quickly (10 or more minutes before hte pizza is due) it is also good to throw him an extra buck or two.

Remember, pizza drivers subsist almost entirely on tips - most places only give them minimum wage and 1 dolalr or less per delivery, which rarely even replaces the gas it took to get him to your house.

An important thing to remember - If you can afford to order a pizza and have it delivered, you can afford the 15% tip. If you;re one of those really angry fat people who do not tip and make the poor guy count out pennies to give u your change, i would suggest hopping into your 1982 Chrysler Reliant K and driving yourself to walmart to buy some pizza rolls. if you;re one of those ghetto rats that live in the projects all the way on the other side of town in the subsidized housing (listen up, Poplar Bluff, Missouri!) why don;t you get a job already- I mean come on, you;re wearing a 400 dollar gold necklace and driving a cadillac with 2000 dollar rims and you;re unemployed? Why the hell won;t you tip me?? I swear to god i am going to call Family services and tell them about the dirty little kids you got running around your house full of empty cat food cans if you don;t start tipping!

Oh and by the way, if you are one of those inconsidered slobs who orders pizza 3 times a week but never tips, DID IT EVER OCCUR TO YOU THAT I AM ALONE WITH YOUR FOOD FOR 15 MINUTES??

Give the Guy/Gal $5. You didn't have to leave your house, maybe get a DUI if you've had a few beers, and stand in line and wait around when you got to the parlor. They used their car, gas, etc. and the $5 was well worth it. If you really can't afford it stock up on frozen pizza's.

Someone does you a service, you be generous. Most delivery people use their own cars and gas (which is outrages now). and may only get paid $5 or $6 an hour. Don't forget to remember they will remember you!!!!

You're supposed to tip 15% of the bill but I never go over $2.00.

On a rare occasion I will tip $3.00...they have to be fabulous in my service.

most delivery guys have to provide their own gas...give the poor guy 20% and next time you'll be sure to get your pizza hot and with no "added" ingredients.
