A disciple by definition is a learner or follower of another person's teachings. A true disciple of Christ will put everything else aside in order to follow the will of Christ.

According to John 8:31, "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, 'If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.'" John 8:31

Matt 28:19,20

A disciple is one who is baptized, and not only taught, but actually does all that Jesus commanded.

And I don't care which bible you use.
