It used to be my 2nd favorite after 'Quisp'. Someone on here told me the makers never stopped making Quisp, but sold it in select areas.
I wonder if the same is true about 'Orange Kangaroo'?

In 1970, a contest was held by Quaker Oats to see whose was the most popular of the two cereals. Quisp won and Quake retreated under ground. Quake reappeared in a new cereal called Quangaroos where he obtained an orange kangaroo as well as putting his mining helmet down in favor of an Aussie motif (long before Jacko, Paul Hogan and Men at Work).

In the late-1970s, Quisp was removed from grocery stores due to low sales. It was re-introduced in the 1990s as the "first Internet cereal", and is still in limited distribution.

Orange Quangaroos
Quake couldn't compete with Quisp for the hearts and tastebuds of American kids, so, along came the Orange Quangaroo, to the rescue! Er, sort of. At least, that was the plan. These round, orange, crunchy nuggets were one of my faves as a kid, but, alas, the life of this , what else could have been on the box? Orange Qangaroo, was even shorter than that of Quake.
