Yes, use 3 tablets of Advil 200, or 3 tablets of Motrin 200, every 6 hours. Tylenol based medicine work less well. You shouldn't take Aspirin after an extraction because you want to control the bleeding. So Ibuprofen based anti-inflammatory (Advil and Motrin) is the best choice. But only 600 mg per 6 hours (3 tablets of 200 mg) or else it can be toxic.

DO NOT rince with water and salt the first day. Ambesol doesn't do anything. Tylenol has little effect.

I would rinse my mouth with warm salt water ( put 1/2 teaspoon in a glass of warm water) rinse . I would do this several times a day...also a dentist is a good idea is this a permanent tooth you have taken out Are your gums infected....you may need antibiotics and an exam. other parts of your body can become ill it is thought from infections in the mouth that are not properly cared for This could be quite important. Esp if you are a woman that is pregnant. Co. hospitals have students dentists if finances are low...take care of yourself...Some people put clove oil or suck on a clove for natural type pain relief..over sore area.

well usually the pain should go away after a short time. the pain and the small bunp could both be signs for an infection you've got. I would say go to the dentist and tell him of your trouble. if you have an infection you should take care ofthat problem and you dentist is the best person that can help you. and to ge you comfortable, when they pull out a toth, they usually check if its in one piece and htat parts of the tooth remain in the wound is a very rare condition.

First take some Ibuprofen then get some Orajel max soak a cotton ball with the stuff and place cotton ball on your gums then use 2x2 gauze to cover that and kinda "pack" that side of your mouth. Take the Ibuprofen as directed. change the orajel as needed.

The other DAY? It should have been much better by now unless you took it out long before it was ready and have live nerve hanging there. Take a tylenol and call the doc uh, dentist in the morning!!!

try an over the counter numbing agent like oragel, and keep it clean by swishing with a little peroxide, just don't swallow the peroxide! If it continues to hurt u may have to see a doc or dentist for antibiotics, u may have an infection
