Put them in a ziplock bag and stick it under some warm water for a few minutes... should help without defrosting them too much.

A lot of the juice escapes if you thaw first, BUT it's easier to get the burger equally done if it's thawed. If you cook from frozen, start with high heat, barely brown both sides (which shouldn't take but a minute or so), then turn down to low or medium low and let it cook very slowly. It'll still be juicy but done through. Don't add any spices or salt till it's 2/3 done. When I fix burgers I get huge packages of fresh burger, pat out and fry all of it, then cut the cooked leftovers into cubes and freeze for chili or spaghetti.

If you are going to cook all of those stuck together, and cook them through (no pink), I would defrost them regardless of the package instructions. In my experience the texture and taste are better anyway, and you don't have to worry about stabbing yourself while trying to pry them apart with a knife.
Otherwise, skip the frozen burgers, buy ground beef and make your own. Freeze each patty in its own plastic bag.

Mmmm, yumm! Are we having burgers?! whatever u do, don't refreeze if fully defrosted...nasty bacteria!
And they usually stick if they werent stored properly somewhere along the big bad processing line!! (sorry HACCP quality conroller at work!!)
Homemede burger patties take less time to make than defrosting the '60% real beef' meat patties...lol

protect your self and smack them on a counter they should separate if real hard inside if they arent that hard then place a case knife or butter knife inside the cracks and then tap it with a mallet for meat or drop the meat and the knife will split the patties apart good luck or place the patties in the mike for a defrost setting of ,5 then just try to pry apart again ..an olde cook

I have had this problem too. Don't microwave all of them. Let them sit on the counter for about 15 minutes, then they will pry apart easily with a fork.

I hate them sooo much. I usually put them in the sun for like three mins if I am grilling them outside or like five mins in the defroster in the micro.
Then I tap them as gently as possible so that they don't break in funny ways.
They should just slide apart then happy cookin'

You could try getting them apart with a blunt knife or putting them in microwave on defrost for 5 mins or putting them in oven frozen to make them defrost

Rinse in warm water just to melt the ice in between the patties. Then cook in High heat for 3 mins. And whatever you do, DO NOT MICROWAVE them.
