I am thinking about getting the new 2007 bmw x5 when it comes out this fall because of the third row because i have a family of 5. I wanted to know does anybody have inside information about the third row seating adults and not just a child size seat.

Might be cramped if you compare the X5 to a Lexus RX series or similiar vehicles.

The outgoing x5 is awesome, the 2007 will be even better. I wouldn't expect to be able to fit a full size adult in the third row, but kids should be fine. The new x5 will be the best suv on the market, as it will incorporate bmw's newest and best technologies.

The X5 is not very large when it comes to interior space. Have you been to a dealership yet to check it out in the flesh?
If you are worried about space for your family, then you should also consider the X3. It has more interior room and cargo space than the X5.
However, both will probably be cramped options.
If you want to go BMW (wise choice), and want room for your family, then my friend, you need to purchase a 5-Series wagon. I know, you probably don't like wagons. I am assuming this because most Americans don't. Hahaha... Go to your dealership, ask to see one, and if they don't have one on the lot, then get a brochure and do all the homework. BMW wagons are nothing short of superb. I like them better than the sedans. They are very sporty, very nimble, and extremely powerful.
Another plus is you get about 4 mpg better fuel economy with the wagon PLUS! a weight savings of over 2200 pounds mate! (3800 v. 6000)!!! Trust me, the 5er wagon is the way to go. You'll be one of the only people in the entire area with one. Tint the windows to shade your family and you are all set. You have one of the finest vehicles money can buy.

Dude!!! How much is an X5??? 60k???
Forget that. Get a honda oddsey, put about 20k into the engine to get it up to 500hp, then put some racing rims, LSD, and u got urself teh most baddest minivan in the world that could smoke a corvete.
Think about it...
Or just buy a hummer(the x5 would be better tho_

do not go with the X5 its a waste of money go with the new 2007 Chevrolet Suburban or 2007 GMC Yukon XL

Don't waste your money buying an SUV, and don't waste even more money by buying a BMW or Mercedes SUV.

it'll do ok, but it's not great....it's still a small SUV
