If every old refrigerator in the state vented a charge of R-12 simultaneously, what would be the decrease in the ozone layer?

It would be enough that we'd all need better sunscreen!

Seriously, a simultaneous burst of R12 would definately be a problem. Exactly how much is also dependent on weather as well. R12 should be disposed of properly.
