Don't dress like thugs or sluts. Do not try to be an upper classman until you are. Join as many school activities as your homework and grades will allow. Don't be a show-off in class. Be a leader by doing what's right and appropriate. Remember that the first grade of your freshman year is the first grade on you high school transcript. Nothing before matters as far as jobs, military, and colleges are concerned. Try to get an academic plan immediately that will take you where you think you want to go. Enjoy these years. They're the best!

Yes i was a freshman last year. All you do is be yourself. If your to stuckup or act like it then no one in the higher grades will talk to you. Freshman year can be scary because you were the oldest in middle school but now you are the youngest. Just be nice and friendly and dont try to get into any trouble. I loved being a freshman but i love being a sophmore better. The higher you get the funner.!!!

I'm not sure if you mean freshman year of college or high school but my advice would be for either don't take it for granite. You can never get this time back again. Join some clubs get involved. And of course don't flake on your classes either. :)

Don't gain the freshmen fifteen.....and don't be afraid of what people think of you because their opinion is not important. Be friendly and a good roommate. Good luck!

whether college or highschool, just relax. it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. just realize that these are the best years of your life, so try not to stress over all the drama and crap that happens.

yea... don't be a punk.. b/c then the upper classmen will hate you... lol... but at my school... it was pretty chill... and don't sit for lunch where they sit... cause they will kick you out of there place and laugh at you... if you stay to yourself and your friends and don't be a jackass you should have a good year =]
