If you have done this before, please describe in detail how you did it and let me know if I can contact you with other questions about the process. I have a grocery bag full of them and access to more if I can find an effective way to remove those darn spikes!

Also, the seeds inside my tunas are very hard. Should I scoop them out or will they get soft when cooked?

Just a few days ago I tried to cook these. I used a hand held blowtorch-BernzOmatic-to burn off the spines. I tried several recipes and they all came out really really slimy. Like raw egg white slimy. If you find a good way to cook them where they are actually edible, let me know if you get the chance!
