Well, I'll tell you the story of the Koran. Mohammed was married to Khadiga. Khadiga's cousin, his name is Waraka Ebin Nawfal, Waraka the son of Nawfal. He was the bishop of the Ebionite cult, a Christian cult, in Mecca. And he befriended Mohammed, after he married Khadiga. Khadiga was 40 years old and Mohammed was 25 years old. Of course, he married her because of her prestige, her wealth, and she really gave him great comfort. And Mohammed used to go with Waraka to the cave of Hera, outside Mecca, and Waraka discipled Mohammed. Well, the Ebionites do not believe in the whole Bible, and he dictated to him the beliefs of the Ebionites. Then one day, Mohammed was by himself in the cave of Hera, and a spirit appeared to him. And then the spirit squeezed him, and he said, "Read." Well, according to the Koran, Mohammed was illiterate. He said, "I can't read." Then the spirit squeezed him again, and said, "Read." Mohammed was scared. He was afraid he might die because of this very hard squeezing. And he answered again, "I cannot read." And the spirit tightened his squeeze on Mohammed and said, "Read." Mohammed, fearing that he might die said, "What shall I read?" Well now, he told him, "Read in the name of your Lord who created man from a clot," and so on and so forth. Mohammed went scared to Khadiga. And he said, "Khadiga, that is the story. I am afraid. I am possessed. I don't know who appeared to me." Khadiga took Mohammed to her cousin, Waraka, and Waraka said to him, "You are the prophet of Arabia." So Mohammed was declared prophet by a bishop of a cult, a Christian cult. Now, who is that spirit who squeezed Mohammed? That is a good question, because that spirit is the one that gave him the Koran. After all, Mohammed said that that spirit is Gabriel, the angel. Well, when I read that I said, "Gabriel, the angel?" Gabriel the angel appeared to Daniel, in the book of Daniel. And Daniel was afraid. What did he say to him? "Daniel do not be afraid." Gabriel appeared to Zechariah in the temple. He was troubled and was afraid. What did he say? "Zechariah do not be afraid." Well, Gabriel appeared to Mary, the mother of Jesus. She was troubled. What did he say? "Mary, do not be afraid." When he appeared to Mohammed, if he was Gabriel, we would have expected that the first thing he would say to Mohammed would be, "Mohammed, don't be afraid." But that didn't happen. Mohammed went trembling, scared, fearful, terrified, to his wife, and he said, "A spirit came to me and squeezed me." If that was Gabriel, he would have said, "Do not be afraid," but he didn't.

So what is this spirit who came to Mohammed? We have the right to ask this question. For us, if we compare that spirit to the angel Gabriel in the Bible it is not Gabriel. Then, this spirit must be a strange spirit. And I think because of that, he gave Mohammed a lot of revelation that contradicts in full detail what the Bible had said. And if the God of the Bible is true, and He is, He will never contradict Himself. So if there is contradiction between the Koran and the Bible, we believe the Bible, especially because in Surat Yunus, [surah 10:94] in the Koran, there is a verse in the Koran that says to Mohammed, "If you are in doubt, Mohammed, about the revelation I am giving to you ask of those who read the Bible before you." So it is the Bible, as the only authority to go to, to confer what is true and what is wrong. And when we read in the Koran one thing after another that contradicts the Bible, especially, and I repeat, especially the denial of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, which is the core and the heart of Christianity. The Koran, is not inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Surat YUNUS - 94

010.094
YUSUFALI: If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt.
PICKTHAL: And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers.
SHAKIR: But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers.

i think tat u r an eastern christian or u were taught in an
eastern way .
it ' s obvious , ur way in writting . i believe it ' s excellent , at
least better than my english . let ' s call it " great conditional
If " , lol , i ' m just kiding with u .
the prophet mohammad pbuh was really scared, also he felt very cold , he asked his 1st wife "sayeda khadiga " to cover him with many blankets .
i ' m not sure of what u ' d said about prophetes : daniel &
zakariya pbut as well as maryam the virgin .
let ' s start with propphet mohammad pbuh
- gabriel treated mohammad not like any other human being , as mohammad was the best among all the human beings in everything , the politest , the most obedient to allah,
allah loves him more than all the creatures .
ur comparison is unfair but it doesn't mean that they weren't
the best , he was the best of the best .
as u ' ve this confidence in ur bible , i ' ve my confidence in my qur'an .
gabriel was ordered to ask mohammad pbuh reading . u r
exagerating when u said that gabriel hasn ' t started by saying " don ' t be afraid " . thus , according to ur analysis :
- the angel was hating M. so he scared him .
- he wasn ' t gabriel (another person) .
- it was a lie or illusion .
hasha lellah , no one of these possibilities is right .
why did u suppose this hypothes ?
why can ' t u believe that gabriel was carrying out allah ' s orders and ' what it ' s said in ur many bibles is lies .
why can ' t u suppose that gabriel was very pitiful while he was giving M . the greatest thing thing in the whole univers .
he knows that this person is the greatest among all the men ? today , after 1427 years , muslims are milliards , from everywhere , many people become muslims after knowing that iy is the right .
u were talking about " waraka ibn nawfal " , in this period ,
ther were priests that have learnt some of the bibles before being changed . many modifications have been done in bibles . there were nearly 600 years between christianity & islam and what is the problem to learn from the others when they ' re right ?
the 12 pupils or any number wrote what they ' ve learnt from jesus pbuh . writting bibles has started in the 3rd century , after 300 years of jesus message .
i believe that bibles were modified by the popes accordin to the needs and the popes ' willing not god willing .
for example , there wasn' t divorcing , it has been changed .
the marriage of priests was forbiden , it has been changed. the result : many christians became atheists .
why ? because of these contradictions in the bibles ?
jesus & christians were knowing that mohammad or ahmad pbuh will be the prophet in jezira arabia (bernaba bible ) , not " ..of arabia " , he is a prophet for all the humanity
arabs of macca have witnessed that mohammad was sincere and franck .
arbs poets have witnessed that the language of qur'an was very special , as u said that mohammad pbuh was illeterate , how could he write words like the words of qur'an ?
jesus pbuh is a prophet , as for the crusifixion , according to the qur'an he has never been crusified .
sayeda khadiga was 40 years old , mohammad was 23 , he stayed with her till she died , he , at the age of 51 , he started marrying sayeda sawda who wasn ' t a beautiful or
a rich woman then he married the others : zaynab , aisha , mariya , hafsa .......
that is a proof that he was marrying for good reasons , not only for sex or wealth as it said .
among them : a widow , a divorced woman , his best friend's daughter , a woman who became muslim after marrying him .
the qur'an is the words of allah , he said it and he ' ll keep it till the last day .maybe , the ways of reading would be diferent but the texte is the same , they don ' t change the sens .
sourate younos : 94 - 10
" if u r in doubt , mohammad about the revelation , am giving to you ask of those who read the book before you "
u see the book not the bible , it means all the books .
" who read the book " means the real book .
then allah says :" the right is from ur god so don ' t be from the unbelievers "
the right means the qur'an or islam .
thus the meaning is completely diferent
thank u for ur question .

because of the fact the Holy Spirit is an element of the father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, NO, their Koran became no longer stimulated by ability of The Holy Spirit. For muslims, what they think approximately the Holy Spirit is to be Gabriel.

The Qu'ran is the collection of all revelations delivered to Mohammad from the Angel Gabriel...also the Qu'ran does not deny the crucifixion of Jesus Christ however Muslim debate this amongst themselves...some muslims believe God sent one of his disciples disguised as Jesus to be crucified and Jesus was raised bodily to heaven...others believe in the Crucifixion and resurrection...also the bible has been altered throughout history so muslims don't trust the word of the bible that much....your logic does not make sense the bible or the Qu'ran were never proven to be right so you can't say the Qu'ran was not from god...no one can same goes with the bible

Your underlying arguement has sumountable flaws. The Bible itself has many contradictions. In one part it says "thou shalt not kill", then in other parts it tells us to kill gays and stone people to death for sex before marriage. And then there's the mistranslations from being converted to one language to another, until finally, English. And remember, the Bible was written by man. Godly men perhaps, but men nonetheless... it is not perfect.
