The Bible does say that there is one faith, and one baptism and one God at Ephesians 4:5,6:
"one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all."To determine which is the one faith approved by God, we need to see if it adheres to these Scriptural guidlines:
It must be organized and have no divisions; "Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment." --1 Corinthians 1:10
They must love one another; "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."---John 13:35
They must regularly assemble with fellow believers; "and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works; not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh."---Hebrews 10:24,25
They must be no part of the world (not involved in politics or in the materialistic values seen today)----"If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."---John 15:19
They will not only be hated, but persecuted for their faith----"Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also."---"Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake." John 15:20 , Matthew 24:9
They will be preaching the good news of God's Kingdom to all people---"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14
They believe the entire Bible is the word of God and apply it in every aspect of there lives.---"Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness." 2nd Timothy 3:16
If the religion you belong to does these things, then it is the right faith.

Well, I was raised Catholic, and I still practice it (Part time, at least). There are beliefs of the Church that I don't agree with---primarily that faith has to be an all or nothing thing. But my one consolation when I start to doubt the core beliefs of the Catholic faith is this...At its core, it is the origin of all Christianity. And so, those beliefs upon which the Church was built are therefore the purest, being that most of the protestant faiths were formed because someone, somewhere along the line decided that the core beliefs of the Church of origin didn't quite jive with how they wanted to live their lives. Think about it, Henry VIII formed the Anglican Church just because the pope wouldn't give him a divorce! (The scary thought is that that religion is still practiced!)
But to answer the real question is, no, there should not be one religion for all... God gave us free will (something that most religions believe, no matter what deity fills the title of "God"). It is for us to determine which is the best way for us to show our respect to Him/Her/Them.

That's the crux now, isn't it. So many septs of Christianity, each one saying they are the only one. Islam saying they are the only way. Try this on for size. They are all right, to a point. All religions have their commandments and they are all very close to the same. In the end it's only one single God known by many names and many faces. So long as you followed a good life of with good moral virtues and have learned all of the lessons set before you then you are allowed to remain in heaven or come back to help others on their path. If you've failed at the lessons you come back. Ever hear of life being hell? Maybe there's a reason why they say such.

Christianity is a religion built around a spiritual reality. The Bible tells the story of mankind, and the story of the God who created mankind. There is no other book in the world that does this. There are other religious books, but none of them tell about the love that God has for all people, and the great lengths that He has gone to for man to be rescued from the destruction he has invited upon himself (by disobeying God). Why believe the Bible? Because it makes the most sense out of this messed up world we live in.
Plus, there is no religion or religious book on earth that proclaims a resurrected Savior. Why is this important? Because if there is no eternal sacrifice for sin, mankind has no enduring connection to God. There is no cure for sin in any religion of the world, only the bondage of trying to live a life (out of your own weak human abilities) that will make "god" happy with you. Only in Christ Jesus can anyone be made right with God (this is called righteousness).
There is no religion that gives a person peace on the inside. Only a heart of faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God gives a person complete peace on the inside. Only faith in Christ can transform a person's heart to make him a new creation and change his/her life forever. All you have to do is pray out loud and ask, "Jesus, come into my heart and make yourself real to me. Change me into a new person that will love you."
If you will do THAT, He will grant your request - and then you will see first hand who is the one true Lord.

Its easy to know who is the real and truthful church or religion. The one that does not participate in wars, the one that help the needy, the ones that go to you to teach you about God and his knowledge. I can say for certain the Jehovah Witness are the truth.

I agree, we are Christians as quickly as we've one Lord, Jesus Christ. i became baptized as a newborn yet I have been given baptized returned through fact it rather is the call that no one else can do for me. there is nowhere interior the Bible that we would desire to be baptized as a splash one and then bypass to the college and to be shown. although, i understand that God will forgive us this form of differences if all of us settle for Jesus as our Lord and Savior. through fact Our salvation isn't approximately us. We get saved with the help of the mercy and style of God as quickly as we've faith Jesus is our Savior-God. To me a private relationship with my Maker is plenty extra considerable than following particular denomination or custom or church. We might desire to love one yet another and take a inspect to help one yet another on each and every occasion we are able to.

You've got it!!!
They ARE all the same, just from different perspectives, shone upon by different lights!
Pick the one that feels right to you and respect the rest and you'll have it made.
That's the first question I've seen in here that actually seems to be asking for truth. (I'll admit, though, that I stay out of this section, as there's WAY too much hatred here for my taste.)
