The Bible tells us that there is one faith, and one baptism and one God at Ephesians 4:5,6
"one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all."To determine which is the one faith approved by God, we need to see if it adheres to these Scripural guidlines:
It must be organized and have no divisions; "Now I beseech you, brethren, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment." --1 Corinthians 1:10
They must love one another; "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another."---John 13:35
They must regularly assemble with fellow believers; "and let us consider one another to provoke unto love and good works; not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as ye see the day drawing nigh."---Hebrews 10:24,25
They must be no part of the world (not involved in politics or in the materialistic values seen today)----"If ye were of the world, the world would love its own: but because ye are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."---John 15:19
They will not only be hated, but persecuted for their faith----"Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also."---"Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake." John 15:20 , Matthew 24:9
They will be preaching the good news of God's Kingdom to all people---"And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14
They believe the entire Bible is the word of God and apply it in every aspect of there lives.---"Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness." 2nd Timothy 3:16
If the religion you belong to does these things, then it is the right faith.

Dear mhm:
Please consider that in the beginning, all of the Great Teachers had to be taught by the Holy Spirit: Socrates, Plato, Confuscious, Buddha, Ismael (for Islam) and Jesus. Since they all had the same shared teacher - the Holy Spirit - the basic truths of all religions are One and the same. These teachers had different personalities and so they expressed things differently, but taught the same Truths.
Any religion or just non-denominational spiritual study that hits the deepest notes inside your soul when you listen to how and what it teaches is the correct one for you - at that present time. We may change teachers every so often - incorporating more expansive thought. For we are spirit-minds Created by the Creator - like Himself. It stands to reason that our minds, likened to His, can take in and digest many layers of thought as contained in All Knowledge.- or the All Knowing of the Father.
The true religion for you is the one that meets you where you stand - at this point.

The one convinces your mind and your heart is the true religion. You must seek the truth for yourself and don't rely on the opinions of other people. Read the Bible , Qur'an and Torah and my advice is to read the explanation to avoid misunderstanding especially in the case of the Qur'an."Even Arab Muslims need the explanation beside the Qur'an to understand the circumstances and context of every verse"...Ask people following the religion to understand more and then you decide and not anybody else...remember that your mind should be convinced too and not to focus on the spiritual side only to make religion a part of your daily life.

The right way is your way.
Take a religion you like. Discard the things you don't like. Make sure you follow your own morals and standards and you will be a very holy person indeed.
It may sound sacrilegious, but remember it was PEOPLE that created religion, so why shouldest you take a shot at it?

Asking which religion is right is about the same as asking which color is the best. The problem is that "right" is subjective.

The religion we believe in my opinion is a matter of geography. Where were you raised and taught and exposed. Spirituality should be what one seeks.

whatever is true for you
i dont think anyone is right or wrong .. they only know what is right or wrong for them
we are each individuals ... with different needs and beliefs
i would never say my religion is right for everyone because i know that not everyone would understand and accept mine ... but it is true for me

You need to find your way not mine. I believe what I do because I found it. I don't try to convince anyone that what I believe is the one and only way to go.
