Hello!! :o) The only time a question about God can be 'wrong' is when the question really ISN'T a question as much as it is an INSULT. For example. If someone asked a person, "Why do you believe in God?" THAT would be a legitimate question - a 'right' thing to ask. But if that same person asked, "How can you be so stupid to believe in God?" That's NOT a legitimate question - and would be considered [by me - at least] the 'wrong' thing to ask. And that's because it's really just an insult. See what I mean? That said - never be afraid to ask someone why they believe what they believe. Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

Questions that are blasphemous are wrong.
I mean, it depends on how you're defining "right" and "wrong." But no question, to me, is ignorant or unacceptable unless it is blasphemous. Questions of this nature are so offensive, and the people asking them have little idea just how awful the questions--and the thoughts that produced them--are.
I used to be a blasphemer before I was given the gift of faith. I imagine that it is part of my penance that I frequently hear vile things out of the mouths of others so that I may get a clearer, unclouded picture of just how vile what I used to say was. That is, while I have trouble stomaching the blasphemy I read on here, I take something from it. God allows me frequent glimpses into the mirror for his good purposes.

a question can never be right or wrong as long as the asker is sincerely seeking truth.
If the asker is just trying to pick a fight or be sarcastic and demeaning then there is a problem, but as long as the asker is willing to listen to the answers and weigh them with discernment without predjudice then there is no wrong question

Phil S got it right.
Only answers about questions about God are right or wrong.
You're better than this.

Perception and belief. It's all in how you choose to see the question.

If it intentionally causes pain.... like using racial and ethnic slurs when it would be more precise to use the correct language (Shiite rather than "towelhead").

Nothing...if somebody is intimidated with questions, then they don't know their stuff or they are hiding something.
