i don't know how good f-secure is. for i would never use norton, its the most usless program in the world. for example when i used to use norton one day my pc stated to run awful so i did an online virus scan with trend micro, which found many of virus and the fully updated norton dident even know i had a virus.

No antivirus is 100% effective. Too many viruses being developed by the minute. F-Secure has been around for a long time and is popular in Europe. I have it as an alternative and it's found some viruses the others have missed. Several help books, including Cleaning Windows XP for Dummies by Allen Wyatt, recommend it. I think Norton is the Best

The othee anti virus slows down you system. I use it in my computer because it is one of the oldest and most reliable software.

I use AVG Free for my antivirus and hardly have any problems. Plus you don't have to pay a subscription fee to update virus definitions.

i used f-secure for 2 years,its a very good,slick interface and has scanners for viruses,spyware,and rootkits(programs that install themselves deep on your hard drive)
its about the 3rd best anti-virus you can buy 8/10

friends have used both ,and found them clumsy.
so have gone to avast which has kept my system free from viruses for 8 years
its free from avast.com
